Boys Camp 2022 “Nothing Is Impossible”

Boys Camp is a 4-day, 3-night resident camping experience dedicated to promoting missions awareness and education for boys who have completed grades 1-8 and their adult counselors. Individual Christian growth and commitment are emphasized. The boys spend time having Bible study, craft time, fishing, performing hands-on mission projects, archery, canoeing, hiking, paddle boating, etc. Summer Boys Camp is ready for its 34th summer of providing boys and dads with a great time!

Age: Completed grades 1-8 and dads/substitute dads
Cost: $210 for campers/ $105 for Counselors

Camp Wo-Me-To is located at 1200 Knopp Road in Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084, in Harford County, near Rocks State Park. It is owned and operated by Woman’s Missionary Union, an Auxiliary to the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware.

COVID Precautions!!

In order to limit the possibility of COVID- 19 entering Camp Wo-Me-To  property, we will be screening all guests before entry for all camps/ programs. This will include:

  1. All campers, chaperones,counselors, and staff will be required to show a negative at-home test completed within 72 hrs of arriving at camp.
  2. All campers and adult participants will sign and complete a health questionnaire and medical release when arriving at camp,  stating that they exhibited no symptoms associated with COVID-19 during the 14 day period leading up to their arrival at camp Wo-Me-To. This includes a statement that also verifies that they have not been in close contact with a positive case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days. The Health Questionnaire and Medical release form is found in the blue link below. Camp registration is not considered complete until registration is paid in full.
  3.  All participants staying at camp will have a daily temperature check in the morning before leaving the cabin. Anyone with a temperature of 100.3 or higher or showing symptoms of COVID-19 will be isolated and not be allowed to remain at camp.
  4. Wearing a face mask is not required while at camp, however, if you choose to, you may wear a face mask.

These guidelines are subject to change in alignment with the CDC and MD Department of Health recommendations.

*If you are registering as a counselor you must complete a background check online. Background check requests must be submitted by July 16, 2022. If you do not, and there is a problem with the screen that requires research, you may be disqualified from service. No volunteer can serve without an approved background check. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. You must be re-screened if it has been more than one year since your prior screen. Background checks from other organization will not be accepted.
