2 Timothy 3:16-17  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Boys Camp is a 4-day, 3-night resident camping experience dedicated to promoting missions awareness and education for boys who have completed grades 1-8 and their adult counselors. Individual Christian growth and commitment are emphasized. The boys spend time having Bible study, craft time, fishing, performing hands-on mission projects, archery, canoeing, hiking, paddle boating, etc. Summer Boys Camp is ready for its 35th summer of providing boys and dads with a great time!

Dates & Times: Thursday, August 1 (4:30pm) through Sunday, August 4, 2023 (2:00 pm)
Age: Completed grades 1-8 and dads/substitute dads
Cost: $240/Boy and $120 for adult chaperones 
Registration Deadline: July 4, 2024
Location: Camp Wo-Me-To Camp Wo-Me-To is located at 1200 Knopp Road in Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084, in Harford County, near Rocks State Park. It is owned and operated by Woman’s Missionary Union, an Auxiliary to the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware.

Scholarship applications

If you would like to join us this year, but also want to apply for a partial scholarship, please click the link below so that we can include you in our planning.   To be considered for this scholarship you must be an active participant in a Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware (BCM/D) church.   You must also obtain 2 recommendations from your church:   one from your pastor and one from a leader in your church.   You must obtain their names and email addresses BEFORE you can complete the online scholarship request   If you are approved for a scholarship, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the online registration/payment.

Child Abuse Prevention Policies and Procedures

Camp Wo-Me-To takes our responsibility to care for campers very seriously.  The policies and procedures
that we’ve implemented are designed to prevent sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect of campers.  
Our policies are intended to create a safe environment for campers, protecting campers, you, and the
mission of Camp Wo-Me-To.

In order to meet these goals, every leader over the age of 18 will be asked to:

1.  Complete our new online registration form that includes:  
    – Child Abuse Prevention Safety information,
    – A review of our Child Abuse Prevention Policies and Procedures document
      and  adherence to these policies and procedures by way of digital signature.
    – You will also be asked to provide 2 personal references with their names and email addresses.  
       They will be contacted by email and asked to complete a personal reference on your behalf.  

2.  Complete a background check.

3.  Complete the Ministry Safe online Child Abuse Awareness training and pass the quiz with a score of 70 percent or better.  

All of these must be completed BEFORE the camp registration deadline.
Once you register for camp, you will receive a separate email with instructions
on how to complete your background check and how to access the online training.

You must be rescreened every year.  Background checks from other organizations will not be accepted.  There are no exceptions.

Please note: ALL APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING DONE ONLINE! NO PAPER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE EITHER BY CREDIT CARD OR BY CHECK/CASH.

Boys, CIT’s and counselors will use the same online registration form.

 Please Note: CIT’s must be pre-approved by Mr. Tim Arnett BEFORE you can register as a CIT. Once approved, he will give you a passcode that you will have to use on the registration form in order to register as a CIT.
