Girls Camp is a four day, three night, resident camping experience dedicated to promoting missions awareness and education. Individual Christian growth and commitment are emphasized. The camping program is sponsored by Woman’s Missionary Union of Maryland/Delaware. It is to give Girls in Action and Acteens, as well as any other girls in grades 4–12, an opportunity to experience Bible study, worship, missions education, recreation and crafts in an outdoor setting.  This camp is sponsored by the Women’s Missionary Union.

This summer, campers will explore how living a Life in Jesus leads to a life of excitement and adventure as we follow His lead and will for our lives.

Dates & Times: July 10-13, 2025 (Check-in:  July 10 at 4:00 pm, Closing ceremony:  July 13 at 10:00 am,

                            Exit camp: July 13 at 11:00 am)
Age: Entering grades 4 -12
Cost: $250/ girls and $125 for adult chaperones (Cost includes program costs, lodging, meals, autograph backpack, crafts and T-shirt)

Location: Camp Wo-Me-To
Wo-Me-To is located at 1200 Knopp Road in Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084, in Harford County, near Rocks State Park. It is owned and operated by Woman’s Missionary Union, an Auxiliary to the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware.

Please note that there have been many road closures in Harford County due to road construction.   In order to help you find the best route to get to our camp we are including the following two maps.   We hope you find them useful and we look forward to seeing you at camp.

Scholarship applications

If you would like to join us this year, but also want to apply for a partial scholarship, please click the link below so that we can include you in our planning.   To be considered for this scholarship you must be an active participant in a Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware (BCM/D) church.   You must also obtain 2 recommendations from your church:   one from your pastor and one from a leader in your church.   You must obtain their names and email addresses BEFORE you can complete the online scholarship request   If you are approved for a scholarship, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the online registration/payment.

Child Abuse Prevention Policies and Procedures

Camp Wo-Me-To takes our responsibility to care for campers very seriously.  The policies and procedures
that we’ve implemented are designed to prevent sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect of campers.  
Our policies are intended to create a safe environment for campers, protecting campers, you, and the
mission of Camp Wo-Me-To.

In order to meet these goals, every new leader over the age of 18 will be asked to:

1.  Complete our new online registration form that includes:  
    – Child Abuse Prevention Safety information,
    – A review of our Child Abuse Prevention Policies and Procedures document
      and  adherence to these policies and procedures by way of digital signature.
    – You will also be asked to provide 2 personal references with their names and email addresses.  
       They will be contacted by email and asked to complete a personal reference on your behalf.  

2.  Complete a background check.

3.  Complete the Ministry Safe online Child Abuse Awareness training and pass the quiz with a score of 70 percent or better.  

All of these must be completed BEFORE the camp registration deadline.
Once you register for camp, you will receive a separate email with instructions
on how to complete your background check and how to access the online training.

If you were a leader last year and your Ministry Safe training is older than 2 years old, you will be asked to complete this training again.  Also if your personal references are older than 2 years old, you will be asked to provide updated personal references.  

Background checks are requested every year.   Background checks from other organizations will not be accepted.  There are no exceptions.

 Please Note: Counselors must be pre-approved by Mrs. Spring Lee BEFORE you can register as a counselor. If you would like to be considered for a counselor or counselor in training position, please complete the following application:

Once approved, she will give you a passcode that you will have to use on the registration form in order to register as a counselor.
